minor
You don’t get to say
which drug effect is
minor. You don’t know
what is minor or major
to me. How can you say
that a whole-body rash
is minor? How do you
know what that is to me?
You don’t know. I get it.
Medically, a skin rash
is minor compared to
kidneys shutting down.
Doctors and humans
have different definitions
of harm. In med-speak
harm and side effects
are two different things.
Harm is a major organ
shutting down. Side
effect is temporary or
a nuisance. But you’re
not the one that gets
to say what is nuisance.
You need to look at me
as a person, you need
to consider me, all of me
before you make that
pronouncement. I’ve
had rash-induced
trauma. That is not
minor. It’s not. It’s not.
It’s not. It’s not. It’s not.
I would rather die.

20201010 5:46PM - This has bothered me so much. These distinctions matter to the well-being of a person such as myself. Maybe not to everyone. But to someone like me who is sensitive, everything is amplified. I am trying to accept myself as I am because I am this way. Please consider all of me before you make your pronouncements. I cannot bear one more trauma.
